*Maximum Use Level for Skin Exposure means the amount of fragrance oil, essential oil, or flavor oil that can be used in products that come in contact with the skin. Keep in mind this is the maximum allowed by IFRA, but is not necessarily the recommended amount depending on the product you are making. If using a base, check with the supplier for recommended fragrance loads as each product varies. You are responsible for testing each oil in your finished applications. Evaluation of fragrance materials is made according to the safety standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM).
