Bleached Square Braid Wick
was originally designed for beeswax candles. Today, this wick is used in all
types of candle systems. This unique construction combined with our chemical
treatment processes make it an excellent choice for waxes that are highly
viscous when molten, like beeswax and vegetable wax. Bleached Square Wick is
engineered to curl while burning, minimizing carbon build-up. This wick is
constructed of 100% natural fibers and is finished with chemical treatments to
improve burn qualities. Square Braid was originally designed for beeswax candles
and is still favored by candle makers as the top choice for making beeswax
candles.
The A&P
Square Braid Cotton Wicks are
raw wicks. They are not
primed, cut or tabbed.

Wicks are
tested and sized based on use in a Straight Paraffin Wax with No Additives.
Wicking is based on the WIDEST area diameter of the candle you plan to make.
This is typically not measured at the opening unless the container is perfectly
straight up and down. Beeswax candles will require MUCH larger wicks than
paraffin wax.
Square braid wick is sold
raw and is not primed. Choose from 100' size or a 1 pound spool.
