Crushed Corn Cob

Corn Cob Sachets are a great item to sell along with your candles!
They can be used as air fresheners in cars, closets, drawers, luggage, vacuum cleaners,
offices, near kitty litter boxes and more! Sachets make great stocking stuffers and
are a great addition to gift baskets! Put them in a sunny window for an even
stronger fragrance release!
*A pound of Crushed Corn
Cob Yields 4.25 cups. Each pound will fill approx. 16 3" x 4" bags
(if you fill each with about 1 oz of cob by weight.)
Directions:
- Add 8 oz Crushed Corn Cob with ¼ - ½ oz. fragrance and shake well. This is a good starting for the fragrance to cob amount. Adding more will make it visibly oily.
- Cover the jar with a lid and shake often over the next several days to allow the cob to absorb the fragrance.
- When the oil is all absorbed (if it is still oily at one week, add more cob) it can be bagged.
Tip:
- You can add designs, logos, and pictures to your bags with Avery iron on T-shirt transfers #3275 & a color ink jet printer
- The oils in the sachets will eat through certain types of plastic, be sure to package them in a plastic bag that can withstand fragrance oils! Also for this reason be sure not to over saturate the cob.
- Make your own sachet bags out of some cute homespun material for a real country primitive look! Try holiday theme material with Christmas designs, etc!
- Our cello bags work well.
Caution:
- Do not set these sachets on wood surfaces as the oils can stain the wood!
- Do not set them on painted surfaces or plastic surfaces as the oils can damage these surfaces
- Keep out of the reach of children and pets!
