How To Make Oil Candles

Directions:

  1. Fill bottle or jar nearly full with lamp oil.
  2. Adjust wick in glass tube so that it is approximately 1/8" above top. Depending upon bottle opening, add adaptor ring if necessary. Place in bottle.
  3. Allow 5-10 minutes time before lighting to allow wick to fully absorb fuel to the top.

Cool Decorating Ideas:

Decorative glass bottles can be found in all shapes and colors! You can fill jars with cute imaginative items such as Chile Peppers, Dried Herbs & Flowers, Beads, Buttons, Marbles, Seashells etc! Check out our Gel page for a variety of Seashells & Frosted Sea Glass!

CAUTIONS:

Use only liquid paraffin oil that is meant for oil lamps & candles. Never use any other fuel type! Keep oil candles on a stable surface and out of the reach of children & pets. They can be easily spilled if tipped over since bottle top is not sealed!
