Pigments resist bleeding and are designed for use on cut and curled and/or sculptured candles. We recommended the coloring or dipping process be done ONLY on the outside. Be careful not to color the core of candle as pigments will impair the burning process. Pigment colors are usually used at 1-2% but are sometimes used up to 5% for a very opaque effect. You can use a paint brush to paint outside surface of candle. Any of these colors may be mixed together to create an endless number of shades. Since Pigments do not mix into the wax but rather suspend within, it is recommended to stir the product well prior to each dip. This product is not suited to making container candles.
