EcoSoya has applied NEW Quantum Technology to a brand new series of wax!

The all new EcoSoya Q210 is an innovative plant-based wax that is designed specifically for container candles. This wax is available in pastille form rather than flakes, for easy handling.

A wonderful replacement for those who have used EcoSoya CB-Advanced wax!

You will find that the new EcoSoya Quantum Series obtains the following characteristics:

* Sustainable, Renewable and Biodegradable
* Improved Scent throw
* Richer Color when Dyed
* Essentially nonpolymorphic (non-frosting)
* Increased Stability

This wax is Petroleum Free and Dermatology tested!

EcoSoya Q210 has excellent adhesion to containers without preheating, requires only one pour, has an excellent scent throw with both fragrances and essential oils and a creamy white appearance.

EcoSoya Q210 is made from pure 100% soybeans and carefully selected botanical oils. Candles made with Q210 have a soft creamy appearance and a smooth flat top surface. Ships well in all climates. A maximum fragrance load of 9% is possible.

EcoSoya Q210 Melt Point: 115F (Container Candle Soy Wax. This wax will also work well for making wax melts.)

Uses: Container Candles, Wax Melts
Fragrance Load:
6% is considered idea but will hold up to 9%
Dye: Chip, Block, Flake, Powder
Wick Suggestions:
CD, ECO, HTP, RRD, Performa,
Paper Core
Wax Type:
Additive Suggestion:
Soy waxes are considered optimal as are.. You may want to however add UV Color Stabilizer to prevent fading and chemical color change.

Instructions for use:

Heat wax to 175-190*, add dye (liquid dyes are not recommended for use in soy wax but block, chips, flakes and powders make exceptional colorants for soy) and blend well, add fragrance and again blend well. We recommend adding scent between 150-175* for best results.

Pour temperatures will vary according to container type and size, fragrance and dye, and the effects you want to achieve. EcoSoya Q210 can be poured as low as 100 F (37.8 C) if the wax is kept in motion (constant mixing) until poured. There is a difference in cooling rates for different container configurations. Cooling too quickly or too slowly can cause concaving and/or frosting. Large jars such as the apothecary configurations and large candles above 8 oz (237 ml) in size cool slower and require lower pour temperatures, about 125F (51.7C) or lower. Smaller candles (less than 8 oz (237 ml)) and metal/tin containers cool fast, requiring a higher pour temperature of about 155F (68.3C). If difficulties are experienced with your pour temperatures, try a lower or higher temperature in increments of 10F (6C).

*Pour temperatures should be checked and confirmed according to seasonal changes.

For testing purposes, we offer for sale, 10 pound bags of this wax.

*We can only offer recommendations as to what wax will perhaps work best for you but we cannot guarantee any certain wax to work best in any application because of the many variables involved. The only way to determine the appropriate wax selection is by experimentation. Test burning will be necessary to determine the best wax for your candles!

I am not happy with the candles I made with this wax. They all cured to a tan color, not the cream color I was expecting. I don't think it was the FO since it has never done that in the past....and all of them did it.

This was my first time using this wax. My candle tops are totally smooth, not grainy, no sink holes as with 464 and 415. I heated wax to 185 degrees and poured at 160. Super smooth tops was my goal and they turned out perfectly smooth! Very pleased :)
