Finally a Vanilla Stabilizer for Cold Process Soap! Works great in Melt & Pour Soap too! This product helps keep your soaps from turning brown when using vanilla fragrances*. Now you can make beautiful vibrant colored soaps and swirls with your favorite vanilla scents!

*May not work in all vanilla based fragrances, depending on the other components in the fragrance. Testing is recommended.

Instructions: Add equal amounts of this liquid to your fragrance oil (for every 1 oz of fragrance oil, add 1 oz of stabilizer). This liquid is not oil soluble, so it will not seem to mix with the fragrance oil, but that is normal. Vanilla Stabilizer has a strong chemical odor out of the bottle, but it will not affect the fragrance of the finished product. Sold by weight not volume.

Excellent it really works well in CP for most scents. There is a bit of a chemical smell but that has never carried through to my soap or morphed any fragrance I have used. The price is also amazing!

Used in Monkey Farts. Always discolors on me. I did use some TiO2, but it's white (basic formula, Olive, Avocado, Palm and Coconut, and it's white as snow with colored embeds I made. I am very impressed. The other stuff I used from another company did not work well. This stuff is great. I would not trust it with Pink Sugar, because that's too high for anything to fix. Oh, what the heck. I'll try it. :)

So far, no discoloration with Dragon's Blood FO (MM), but the first time using BCN VS with DB, the DB morphed to smell like Root Beer, and it has not morphed back to it's typical fragrance yet. I made the soap exactly 10 weeks ago. The ratio of FO:VS I used was 1:1.5 due to the high vanillin content of the FO. FO was at 3% in the soap.

I will try again with another FO.

Works pretty well - some fragrance oils you just can't keep white. It does alter my pink and orange micas though. Turns them more brown so they lose their color.
