Our Votive Clamshell is the perfect solution to pouring and packaging a soy votive candle in one easy step! 2 Cavities per mold 5 5/16"H x 3"W Outside Dimensions 1 7/8" Depth x 1 3/8" Diameter. Must pour around 155 or lower using this mold. It will warp and melt from the normal heat involved in making paraffin or palm wax candles.

I was timid to try this mold after the previous author's review, but decided to give it a try hoping for a better way to make votives. It paid off, I LOVE THESE! The secret is to let your wax cool to 130-140 degrees before pouring. Then they work like a charm. I just wish I had a better way to hold the wicks in place while pouring.

I love them too but how DO u get the wick in there without all the hassel? Definately cannot use wick stickums or hot glue or it will stick to the bottom!!

Love these molds. I used the metal wicks to mold the votive, and replaced them with the wick when completely solidified. Very easy to do.

I would like to buy these but holding off until someone knows how to hold the wick in place before pouring. Anyone? Bitter Creek?
